Volunteers: We Need Your Help!
FLUFF is a community-based rescue, which means that we depend heavily on a committed group of volunteers who provide everything from foster homes for dogs, help at events to raise awareness, support for our new Fluff's Stuff re-sale shop, and marketing support.
Our approach is to "divide and conquer" so that no task is too large to address, and everyone gets to contribute his/her unique talents to the cause. Click on the boxes below to volunteer or foster!
Some foster responsibilities include - but may not be limited to - feeding, medical care, basic training, socializing, and earning the trust of the animal so that he or she will be a success in their new adoptive fur-ever home when they are ready to be adopted! We provide food, medical care and other necessities ... you provide the love! For more information on fostering, please click the box below; to complete a foster application, please click here!
Often times, animals will need transport from one area of the state to another, or maybe just a quick drive across town to an adoption event, medical appointment, or better yet, an adoptive home! If you would like to help, please contact us and provide us with the best number where we can reach you in the event a transport is needed.
From time to time, FLUFF Animal Rescue will hold exciting and fun fundraising events locally to help raise money for our animals in need. If you would like to help out in any capacity, please contact us and let us know how you would like to help!
Maybe you have some extra items lying around that you would like to donate to our thrift shop (coming soon). Perhaps you have items that you would like to make or donate to help raise funds for the animals? Remember, we are a 501c3 not-for-profit charitable organization. Your donations are tax exempt!
Fluff's Stuff will also need staffing assistance to process in-store adoptions and merchandise sales. Contact us if you're able to help.
People can't foster or adopt dogs they don't know about! So making phone calls, maintaining databases, and creating all forms of communication about adoptable dogs ... these activities are the lifeblood of dog rescue. If you have skills in writing, design, photography or similar... we need you!
Let's get social! Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube are the most-used search tools after Google. Our Facebook page recently passed 3,000 likes -- a major goal -- and we want to achieve the same kind of growth in the other venues. Volunteers can help by sharing our content on their own pages and helping us draw more people to Fluff.
