FLUFF is a community non-profit rescue. We rely on a committed group of volunteers who partner with us to save lives!
You can be a foster, help at events to raise awareness, provide support for our new Fluff's Stuff re-sale shop, or utilize your unique talents to help with marketing and fundraising efforts.

Fostering
A foster family cares for our rescue dogs in their home until the dog is adopted. The foster family is one of the most important roles, as without fosters, we would not be able to rescue as many dogs as we do. The more foster families we have, the more dogs we can rescue from high kill shelters.
Fluff covers all expenses and supplies for the dog while with their foster family. The foster family cares for the dog until adoption which may be anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months. It’s sometimes hard to give up a foster dog, once you care for him/her, but remember his heart still beats because you opened your heart & home. And you get to do it all over again with your next foster! It does get easier and is a wonderfully rewarding experience for the whole family. Especially when you see happy ending photos of your foster with their new family. Fill out a Foster Application today & be part of our life saving mission!
FLUFF's Stuff is a great way to become involved! Now open, FLUFF's Stuff is a thrift store in Seminole which operates by accepting, sorting, pricing and selling donated items to raise much needed medical funds for the animals in our care. Our thrift store is always in need of reliable help to sort, price, merchandise and sell items. We are also in the process of constructing a new rescue and thrift location and are looking for a few good men (and women) to assist with small construction projects, plumbing, electrical, painting, cleaning, and setting up. Perhaps you have some extra items lying around that you would like to donate to our thrift shop. Perhaps you have an artistic talent you would like to donate to help raise funds for the animals? Remember, we are a 501c3 not-for-profit charitable organization. Your donations are always tax exempt, and your help is always appreciated!
Often times, animals will need transport from one area of the state to another, or maybe just a quick drive across town to an adoption event, medical appointment, or better yet, an adoptive home! If you would like to help, please contact us and provide us with the best number where we can reach you in the event a transport is needed.
People can't foster or adopt dogs they don't know about! So making phone calls, maintaining databases, and creating all forms of communication about adoptable dogs ... these activities are the lifeblood of dog rescue. If you have skills in writing, design, photography or similar... we need you!
From time to time, FLUFF Animal Rescue will hold exciting and fun fundraising events locally to help raise money for our animals in need. If you would like to help out in any capacity, please contact us and let us know how you would like to help!
